Helambu Trek : Trek in Helambu region is easy level. Treks in this region start from Melamchi / Talamarang or Sundarijal.
Trek from Sundarijal ascend to Chisopani, Gulbhanjyang, Mangegot, Tharepati, Melamchi goan and descend to Tarkeghyangl, Sarmathang, Timbu, Kakani, Talamarang an Melamchipul bazaar. And Trek from Melamchi Pul bazaar / Talamarang ascend to Kakani, Sarmathang, tarkeghyang, Melamchi goan and trek back. Melamchigoan, Sherpa village is one of very nice villages. Many year before Sangepa Ripoche has done retreat in this place. We call today guru Ripoche cave. Ama Agnri : ama means mother and Agri her name: Once a time Yak watcher woman died on this peak and her three sons has constructed a stupa where they had found her died body. It is very good view point of this area.
There are villages of mixed ethnics, Tamang villages and Sherpa villages. The route passes through forest and villages. Rhododendron blossom in March April. Beautiful landscape and Jugal Himal ragne can be seen from this route.
