Team Summits! A Record 10th Time for Dave Hahn!Dave Hahn called down at 7:26am Nepal time from the Summit. Everyone in their team is on top and doing well, and the weather is perfect, with 5mph wind. Congratulations to Dave and Nicky Messner (both from Taos, NM), Sanduk Dorje and Phinjo Dorjee (both from Pangboche). This is Sanduk's 4th Everest summit, Phinjo's 2nd, and Dave's 10th! ![]() didn't want to jinx Dave by mentioning it earlier, but we can now safely say that he has more Everest summits than any other non-Sherpa, and he is the first non-Sherpa climber to hit double-digits! The team still have a lot of climbing left before we can all breath a sigh of relief, but so far so good. We'll keep you posted! —Eric Simonson, IMG Director Views : 540 | Last Updated : Dec 8 2008 Monday 07:27:29 PM |

So wrote my Sirdar in an email to me after his reconnaissance trip into the Nar Phu valleys in August 2005. |
